Episode #17 - Not # 18!

This week I change things up a little again and do introductions at the beginning of the podcast!  You can join the Ravelry group HERE.  No one left an introduction this week so I just want to say welcome to all those who joined :-) And to returning viewers, thank you SO much for coming back. I really appreciate you guys.

Finished objects were the Abyssal Shawl, using my handspun 'Franklin' fiber, and the Chicken! You can find more info on my Ravelry page

What's In The Bag? No love on hubby's cardigan or Magrathea, because I knit mostly on the shawl. Nearly finished hubby's socks!

Fun KAL's. Check out Clare's Bingo KAL at 'Student Knits Podcast.
And Lauren's Summer of Fun KAL at 'LemKnitCrochet' Podcast.

New Podcast I'm watching: YodaFatKitty Donna also has a blog HERE.

Squash recipe I mentioned can be found  HERE at allrecipes.com

I will hopefully podcast one last time next week before we move out for Denver. Hope you'll join me then.

Episode #16 - Special Guest

Show Notes:
This week I have a special guest joining me :-) It was fun doing the podcast with ??? but I have to admit, rather strange when I'm so used to being in a room on my own to record.

No Finished objects, but I have a HO, hubby's sock! One finished, one to go. The Pattern is 'waffle stitch toe-up sock by Wilma Becker

I cast on for a new shawl using my Handspun Franklin! The pattern is Abyssal by  Karen and Karyn!

Also worked a little on my Chicken  but think I'll wait to do the tail, til I have some other yarn.

Keychains were purchased from a shop on Etsy called My Blue Snowflake.

Episode #13 - A Short One - and Prizes!

This week there's not much knitting (or spinning) because I was away in Denver for 5 days. Lots of chatting AND I draw the three winners for the April KAL. I will post the winners once they've contacted me. If they haven't contacted me within one week I will PM them :-)

Episode #12 - Bags Galore!

I keep saying show notes will follow soon, but they never do!! I think it will be easier just to link my WIP's and FO's to my Ravelry pages, and give a general description of the episode here. If there is anything specific you want a link to or more information about, just PM me on Ravelry.

This week I show off the bags I've been sewing. I've really had fun making them and hope to gift some as well as have some prizes in our Ravelry Group. Check the Ravelry Group thread for a chance to win the Lorax Project bag. I'll keep the thread open for two weeks.

Wips and FO's See my ravelry page HERE. If it's not listed on my page yet and you want details, PM me.
I have cast on the Age of Brass and Steam Kerchief and will be joining in with AmyBeth's (The Fat Squirrel) Gratitude KAL.

Here's the link to the Spicy Shredded Pork I did from the Pioneer Woman's Cookbook

Shoutouts: Check out Zena's new podcast Knittynatter on Blip.tv/knittynatter. She also has a Ravelry group already started. Go join, and show her some love :-)
